Regenerative Organic Certification goes beyond USDA Organic standards by incorporating additional requirements focused on soil regeneration, social fairness, and animal welfare. We have been growing organic herbs since 1979. That experience matters. Over the years, we have refined our cultivation methods, seed stewardship practices, drying systems, and quality-control processes to consistently produce premium bulk herbs and herbal ingredients. Our longstanding commitment to herbal farming has also helped establish Pacific Botanicals as a trusted supplier for herbalists, wellness brands, healthcare practitioners, and manufacturers across the country.

As the sister company to Herb Pharm, we also share deep roots within the herbal wellness industry.

Fresh Herbs Harvested and Shipped the Same Day

Our fresh harvest program is designed to deliver exceptionally vibrant fresh herbs at peak potency. During harvest season, many herbs and flowers are picked and shipped the very same day using expedited delivery methods to preserve freshness and quality. We offer more than 40 seasonal fresh herbs throughout the year, including Calendula, Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Tulsi, Nettle, Ashwagandha root, Valerian root, Turmeric rhizome, and Ginger rhizome.

Because many customers rely on specific herbs during harvest windows, we also allow buyers to reserve material in advance before the season begins.

Sustainable Farming Rooted in Soil Health

Healthy herbs begin with healthy soil. That's why regenerative farming practices are integrated throughout our operation.

We dedicate roughly half of our acreage to perennial cover crops for at least three consecutive years before fields return to production. Our crop rotation systems help naturally disrupt pests and diseases while supporting long-term soil vitality. We also prioritize compost-fed soils, reduced tillage, and native habitat restoration across the farm. These practices help retain moisture, reduce carbon loss, encourage biodiversity, and support pollinator populations. As part of our restoration efforts, we have interplanted native Oregon wildflowers alongside cover crops and worked to restore riparian areas surrounding streams and ponds throughout the property.

Seed Stewardship & Traceable Botanicals

More than 75% of the herbs we grow come from seeds collected directly on our farm. This allows us to preserve genetic consistency while avoiding unknown GMO contamination from outside parent lineages.

For herbs we do not cultivate ourselves, we work exclusively with a trusted network of certified organic partner farms and wildcrafters that meet our sourcing and quality standards. Every supplier is pre-qualified before any material enters our system. This attention to sourcing allows us to maintain full traceability from field to shipment across our botanicals and wholesale herbs program.

Rigorous Quality Standards Across Every Batch

Quality control is not a single step in our process — it is built into every stage of cultivation, receiving, processing, packing, and shipping. We maintain documented quality processes across our operation to support consistency, traceability, and product integrity. Our organically grown herbs are certified to USDA organic standards by Oregon Tilth, and most of our products are Earth Kosher certified.

Premium Mushroom Powders

Our mushroom powder line reflects the same quality standards that guide our herbal program. All of our organic mushroom powder products are USA-grown, Certified Organic, and cultivated in nearby Washington state. We offer 14 species of mushrooms, including Reishi, Turkey Tail, Maitake, Cordyceps, Shiitake, Oyster mushroom, and Lion's Mane powder.

Our mushroom cultivation and processing methods were developed by two industry legends: George Vaughan, a mycology expert with more than three decades of experience in addition to being founder of Mushroom Harvest, and internationally recognized mycologist Dr. Christopher Hobbs, Ph.D., who brings more than four decades of expertise in mushrooms and herbal medicine.

Each mushroom species is grown according to its ideal life cycle, then steam processed after harvest so it is ready to use. Every batch is tested for consistency and purity before reaching our customers.
