According to FDA guidelines we cannot make any claims for the healing properties of our botanicals.

Any information about our herbs on the website, or our publications is for educational purposes only. This information has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, nor is it intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

We would like to refer you to a website that has a wealth of information concerning the uses of many of the most common botanicals. Please go to christopherhobbs.com and click on the Herbal Prescriber Data Base section.

2. Can you recommend a good book on herbs and their uses?

There are many fine herbal books available. One of our favorites is 101 Medicinal Herbs by Stephen Foster available through Amazon.

3. Do you have formulas or recipes for medicine making?

We do not. We provide only the raw materials people use in their plant medicine. For a good source for formulas try Making Plant Medicines by RichoCech.

4. How can I determine the country of origin for the herbs I am ordering?

All of the herbs listed in our catalog, or on the website have the country of origin listed. In the online store click into the product description to find the country of origin. In our catalog all of the herbs grown on our farm are highlighted in green type.

5. Do you have conversion tables for herb quantities? (how many cups of herb in a pound)

No. Due to the variable nature of the density and type of cuts for herbs it is impossible to give any kind of conversions.

6. Do you sell powdered or liquid extracts?

No. We sell the bulk herbs to manufacturers all over the world who make these products.

7. How can I set up a wholesale account with you?

We do not set up wholesale accounts. Our catalog and online store are designed to offer wholesale prices to businesses and individuals alike. We have price breaks at 5, 25 and 100+ pounds for each herb. Please click here if you would like a copy of our latest print catalog.

Why Choose Pacific Botanicals As Your Source for the Highest Quality Organic Herbs?

Simple...Experience you can trust!

Unsurpassed Growing Expertise Since 1979
Experience you can trust.
Pacific Botanicals is the most experienced and diversified medicinal herb farm in North America. Our depth of growing experience is your guarantee of the finest quality herbal products. Many of the herbs that we grow have been selected and acclimatized to our microclimate for almost 30 years.

Ideal Growing Environment
The Perfect Balance of Sunshine and Rain.
The Applegate Valley is one of Oregon’s natural climate treasures. It is home to many working organic farms and has a growing reputation as one of the finest herb producing areas in the world. The Mediterranean-like environment—long damp mild spring, an intense and heat filled summer, a lingering warm and slowly cooling fall, and a short but thoroughly wet and cold winter that fills the reservoirs, nourishes the land and kills the bugs—is perfect for producing an extremely broad variety of medicinal herbs.
