Pacific Botanicals is dedicated to empowering people everywhere to experience the miracle of good health.

In a nutshell that who we are comes down to four words: Experience. Quality. People. Trust.

We have been growing high quality organic medicinal herbs in the Applegate Valley now for just about 30 years. In that time we have learned a few things. We have learned exactly the types of herbs that do well here and have selected the various varieties to fit our microclimate and to achieve maximum potency. We can honestly promise you will not find higher quality herbs grown anywhere in the world. We are certified organic in growing and processing according to USDA standards by Oregon Tilth and have been from the beginning. We have a passionate commitment to quality in everything that we do. We may not be the biggest herb seller in the country, and that is fine with us, but you can count on us to know more about the herbs we sell, from the seed that we use, to starts in the green houses, to the pristine growing environment, to the precise organic nutrients, to the perfect time for harvest and conditions for shipment. We have also built good working relationships with many other organic growers in the U.S. We have been sourcing herbs with them for many years and know many of them personally. We were here when the renaissance of herbal medicine began in the U.S. and we have gained a great deal of experience over these years in knowing which herbs to source from other organic growers who also have high quality standards.

Quality for us starts with the seed and the soil.

All of our seeds are collected from our own plants. Our microclimate is pollution free, and takes advantage of the abundant rainfall of the Oregon coastal flow, and the irrigation water from the Applegate River Watershed whose source is in the snow melt of the Marble Mountains Wilderness Area. Our soil has been enhanced by cover crops of oat, mustard, and clover, rotated for maximum replenishment, and fed with the finest organic ingredients for all these years. We rigorously inspect everything we grow and everything that we source. You can trust that what we have grown, and what we have sourced will be the finest quality possible.

With the Internet, and the huge warehouses that supply herbs today, it is easy to lose sight of the importance of building relationships with customers.We have tried to keep our business to a manageable size so that we do not lose sight of people. Individuals, retailers, practitioners, or manufacturers, always get the best service we have to offer. Our employees, from the miller and the field workers, to customer care, shipping, packing, and management love the relationships that are built through our work. We take time with people.
